About

Firstly, a little history lesson. My name is Bryan. It is a variant of the Celtic “Brian” (huge change eh?). The meaning of this name is not known for certain but it is possibly related to the Old Celtic element bre meaning “hill”, or by extension “high, noble”. Brian Boru was an Irish king who thwarted Viking attempts to conquer Ireland in the 11th century. He was victorious in the Battle of Clontarf, but he himself was slain.
This seems to be the basic formula for my life. Many of my experiences have been ones that teach me something new and make me a better person, but I can’t help but feel defeated and a little disillusioned by them. A sage can know that all of the fables he was taught as a child aren’t real, but then, where is his imagination left room to grow?

Deep?
Yeah.
I’m just that kind of guy.

Not really. I’m a man of simple pleasures. I like me a Dr. Pepper and a steak. I’m in love with many things at once: God, a girl, my friends. I’m not that great of an organizer, so my plans tend to fall into a bit of disarray. All in all though, if you want to know more about my personality, read my blogzees. My English teacher once told me that you can learn a lot about a person by their writing…then again, this is the same English teacher who is probably clinically insane.
